Virginia Ruth Miller was born on January 8, 1936 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to Donald and Jeanette ‘Ruth’ Skiver. Virginia, always known as Ginger, finished college and went on to receive her master’s degree from U of M Dearborn. She was a special education teacher in the Dearborn School District for many years before retiring. She also owned a cross stitch store on Michigan Ave called Colonial Stitchery with her sister, turning a beloved hobby into a business. Ginger had many friends and loved to travel all over the world.
She is survived by her sisters Mary (Bob) Geroux, Judy (Gene) Marcinkiewicz, her brother Donald (Dorothy) Skiver, 14 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews she adored. She passed away on January 24, 2018 and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
