Frank Iggi Leszczynski, age 92, passed away on December 12, 2017. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Mary (Osmansha) Leszczynski on July 31, 1925. Frank was wounded in the Korean War while serving our country in the United States Army. On August 26, 1971 Frank married Geraldine Blanar and both were longtime Brighton residents until her passing in 2002. He was employed for a local trucking company and enjoyed bowling and travel. Frank was a caring individual and showed compassion to everyone he knew. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Dearborn, Michigan for many years. Frank is survived by his nephews: Lou Lacy, Greg Leszczynski; goddaughters: Jackie Compton, Nicole Lacy; great nieces and nephews: Sam Leszczynski, Mark Lee, Jim Lacy, Sharon Stone and Sandy Mullins. Frank was preceded in death by his dear wife Geraldine. Inurnment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan at a later date.
